Make Your Own Garden
October 14, 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm£40
Planning your garden - and realising your vision.
Do you look at your own garden and wish it were different? Do you sigh in envy when you see a perfectly ordered garden where plants are happy and flowers bloom?
On this workshop we explore your garden and what it is that you want from it. We look at ‘model’ gardens and we look at the reality behind achieving this. Using garden design techniques we will make a vision board from which you can start your new garden – starting afresh or simply regenerating what you have. Be guided in plant placement to ensure happy planting and flourishing flowers; get the right planting to help you maintain your garden effortlessly; regenerate areas to make full use of empty spaces and come away with inspirational ideas for re-creating your own garden!
A New Zealander by birth, gardener and garden designer Alison Langrick has worked in gardens and natural environments across the world - from tiny urban spaces to grand stately homes.
With bags of opportunity to tap into Alison's immense expertise and to focus on your own particular challenges, this workshop will let you leave with an achievable plan.

We do have limited space, so please do book early if there's something that particularly interests you.
Occasionally we hold 'just turn up' events... in which case just turn up! We hope to keep it as simple as that, but apologise in advance if things become unexpectedly busy and we have to rearrange.
T&Cs (The three 'C's)
Coffee. We give you coffee! (Or tea, if you prefer). For workshops that span the day, we take a break for lunch. Stretch your legs on the streets of Kibworth, or stay with us to eat and we'll prepare you something delicious for a small extra cost.
Cancellations. Please note that a full refund for cancellations will be given only if we can re-allocate your spot to another attendee.
Children. We generally give a guide age range for children's workshops, but all kids are different and you know yours better than we do! You will need to stay on the premises at all times whilst your children are here - you might want to join in and help the younger ones... or might prefer to flee to a separate table with your laptop and something tasty.
Some adult workshops are suitable for older children - if in doubt, contact us!
