Spoon Carving Workshop
March 17 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm£35
Spoon whittling's an art that dates back as long as there was food to be eaten.
Using green wood and a variety of tools, you’ll learn the ancient skills of spoon whittling. From the character and properties of your wood to knife skills, you'll find that there's so much more to it than meets the eye!
As well as a new skill, you'll take home a unique (and useful) creation for your kitchen!
For ticketed events, select the number of spaces you'd like and click 'buy now'. If you're a regular visitor, you can create an account to speed the process next time - but this is totally optional.
You'll be taken to the standard PayPal checkout - if you don't have a PayPal account then select that option and you can pay via any major credit card.
Ticket confirmations are sent out via email.
If you've been given a workshop voucher, call us to redeem it and we'll book you on at this end (bring the voucher with you when you come).
To get any extra details of specific events, call the shop on 0116 279 1111. Alternatively, click here for our general enquiry form.
We do have limited space, so please do book early if there's something that particularly interests you.
Occasionally we hold 'just turn up' events... in which case just turn up! We hope to keep it as simple as that, but apologise in advance if things become unexpectedly busy and we have to rearrange.
T&Cs (The three 'C's)
Coffee. We give you coffee! (Or tea, if you prefer). For workshops that span the day, we take a break for lunch. Stretch your legs on the streets of Kibworth, or stay with us to eat and we'll prepare you something delicious for a small extra cost.
Cancellations. Please note that a full refund for cancellations will be given only if we can re-allocate your spot to another attendee.
Children. We generally give a guide age range for children's workshops, but all kids are different and you know yours better than we do! You will need to stay on the premises at all times whilst your children are here - you might want to join in and help the younger ones... or might prefer to gather at a separate table with the grown-ups.
Some adult workshops might be suitable for older children - if in doubt, contact us!
